Scientific Board – Strategic Scientific Authority of SBCI-Group

The Scientific Board is the scientific foundation of SBCI-Group, composed of Polish scientists with internationally recognized scientific and research achievements, representing leading fields of medical biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and modern agriculture. The Board includes professors, habilitated doctors, and experts with extensive experience in research, development, and implementation projects, engaged as scientific partners who co-own responsibility for the platform's scientific direction.

The Scientific Board is responsible for defining the scientific and technological development directions of SBCI-Group platforms. Its members lead and contribute to multiple research teams in parallel, with disciplinary expertise allocated according to the specific scientific requirements of each project. This structure ensures that every module of the platform is supported by the most relevant combination of scientific competencies, rather than by isolated, single-discipline teams.

The Board’s areas of expertise cover a broad range of disciplines, including virology, immunology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, medical biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, environmental microbiology, analytical chemistry, process technologies, agri‑biotechnology, and advanced environmental and agricultural systems.

A key strength of the Scientific Board is its ability to connect scientific knowledge with the practical needs of governmental institutions, strategic development programs, industrial partners, and the investment sector. This enables SBCI-Group to develop technology platforms that address challenges related to public health, biological security, food security, water management, and sustainable development.
